Win, Lose, or Blog Season 4 has begun!!!!

Click right over to meet this season's 8 contestants!!!!  I will root for them all to be successful, but I was very excited to see my Mo!  GO MO!!!!!!!  :)  Do you have a favorite?  If you follow the competition and leave lots of comments, you might become a prize winner just for being supportive.  That's a win, win, WIN!  :)

Today I am a teensy sore from yesterday's exercise.  (Thanks a lot,  BengBeng!  LOL!)  I have to say what a difference just 1 workout makes when you've not been active.  It's sooo hard to make yourself do it, and all kinds of body aches seem to be your excuse.  But even just that first bit of activity makes you feel soooo much better!  Limber even...  I need to not forget that.  I mean, I know that, but I fell into the same trap again anyway.  My plan is to enjoy activity for a time.  Usually my desires to eat healthier naturally change once I begin exercising regularly, as does my desire for tougher workouts.  I'm ready for the ride!  :)

Another thing I am enjoying is taking the words of Sheryl to heart.  A while back she shared to take care of yourself and appearance and develop your sense of style~don't wait until you've lost the weight you want to lose.  I cut my hair off, dyed it red, and am enjoying make-up, earrings, and fixin' myself up again!  The only thing about reinventing yourself at near 40 is that, well, you're near 40!  LOL!  Some of the styles I think are cute would look ridiculous on me at this age.  Still, I'm workin' on it!

Pushin' through the pain!

  1. Wow, that is so true that you shouldn't wait until you have your dream body before you start to dress it up!

I know last year, I had gained 15 pounds in a few months, reaching my all time high. But then I went out and bought some clothes that would actually fit me (rather than trying to squeeze myself into something way too small), and I felt fantastic. That alone was a lot of motivation to keep me working.

Also, if nothing else, getting dolled up is just so much fun!
