BOOYAHHHHH!

So I weighed yesterday, and...

...I've lost 4 pounds!  This is a milestone for me, because 1.) I have reached the 20-pound mark, and 2.) the last time I lost weight (January 2009) I got to 249 and then rejoiced to be with child.  I am at a lower weight than I have been in YEARS!  And I am excited to keep going...  But I am a bit afraid now.  I have to start eating again after being sick and don't want to gain!

Pushin' through the pain!

  1. Ohhhh, yeah, been sick. Well. You know the odds are that you've lost some much needed fluid tha may need to be restored...and may show.

but, if you hit it hard this week, maybe you won't have a gain, but still lose a little.

    Good luck.

  2. Congrats on the weight loss! Don't get stuck in the worry.. just do what you know works & stay consistent! You are on the right track!!! You may go up a pound or 2 from eating again but if you don't let that get to you & just stick with it, all will stabilize & you will be fine!

  8. CONGRATS, Pauline!!!!!

Don't be afraid of eating...actually, there is a chance that your weight might go up a bit, but as you start eating a bit more your metabolism would rise, too, so it'll all work out. :-)

After all, the best "loss" in a diet is losing an unhealthy relationship with food. Embrace all the wonders that food can do for you.
